"This is the last Royal Castle left on the planet. Royal Castle is to South Florida what White Castle is to the Midwest. They made their first slider in 1938, and at its peak in the 1960's, there were over 150 locations, 40 of which were in South Florida. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give them a 7, although I give the owner a 10 for keeping the last one open, terrazzo floors, and all. It's worth a visit for historical reasons alone. The sliders were cooked to order and served hot. Throw in a root beer for the full vintage experience."
